| Gilles & Cecilie attends Village Fete at the V&A Museum. |
|
2006: London based Gilles & Cecilie, which in addition to Maurud consist of French designer Gilles Jourdan, have joined forces with Jessica Antwi-Boasiako of Soup Session to create a stall at the V&A fete. At the stall you'll be able to vote for your favourite body bits by getting a badge and automatically stand the chance to win one of their unique, handmade body part pillows. 2008: Gilles & Cecilie goes OINK, OINK, OINK at the Village Fete 08. They are taking the classic game Pass the Pigs into new dimensions by creating life-size pigs (made with foam and fabrics) for the audience to throw on an allocated ground space. The main goal is to make the pig land with its bacon side up to gain the highest score. The prizes will be scrumptious parts of pigs. Our stall will be bulging with handmade lovely velvet trotters, cotton twill sausages, leather and silk bacon rashers and the top prize a pigs head made with love and care, all stuffed with cushion soft filling. |
