Gilles & Cecilie Studio handpainted wayfinding and murals throughout the Hotel Folketeateret. They also designed lighting features and a metal structure for the reception. Reminissence of art deco period when the building was erected. Inspired by Scandinavian nature, colour and beauty. When staying in a hotel you are sharing your experience with fellow guests as well as your loved ones, your children, family, friends or maybe business partners and colleagues. Gilles & Cecilie wanted to emphasise the Scandinavian values of the Hotel Folketeateret in their design and capture a story that all visitors and staff could identify with.
