SCENARIO 2040
Scholz & Friends commissioned Gilles & Cecilie Studio to draw a scenario for Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The scenario for 2040 including Germany's sustainable and (almost) climate-neutral working society. A good twenty years after the promulgation of the European Green Deal, it has been possible to largely contain the environmental and climate crisis.
Gilles & Cecilie Studio constructed a mulit-leveled urban area to create several surfaces to draw in detailed situations on how people will work and live in the furture with urban farms and gardens, bicycles as transport, shared communities and local production.
